Iceland appoints the world’s first gay head of state (via datn)
She’s not a head of state, she’s a head of government (I know Americans have trouble with the difference). And asides from that it’s just plain wrong. Presented for your consideration: Alexander the Great, Julius Caesar, Sultan Mehmet II, et. al.
